dxBTC Minting and Burning

Planned

dxBTC is planned and not live. Minting and burning dxBTC are not available yet, and there is no public command for them today. The subfrost-cli commands this page used to describe are retired and not available.

Intended Flow

Minting dxBTC

Once dxBTC launches, a deposit will first become frBTC. Minting will then lock up that frBTC in the dxBTC alkane and mint dxBTC to your Bitcoin address.

Burning dxBTC

Burning will burn your dxBTC and unlock frBTC to your Bitcoin address, which you will then be able to unwrap to BTC.
